Austin Canoe and Kayak Demo Days

Team Ocean Kayak’s Captain Filip Spencer was on hand in Austin for Austin Canoe and Kayak’s demo day. It was a beautiful sunny day with large crowds and a great venue. Austin Canoe and Kayak were introducing Ocean Kayak’s new lineup of kayaks for 2009 including the new Trident 11 and 13 kayaks. Many kayakers specifically came out to try out these new kayaks and were not disappointed by the improvements Ocean Kayak has made to their kayaks. The Austin market is also a strong seller of sit inside kayaks. Many Austin kayakers paddle as a means of exercise, and the comfort, portability and speed of a sit inside kayak is a popular choice.
