My name is Captain Filip Spencer. People call me Fishman.  I'm a Local fishing guide here in Corpus Christi, Texas.  I have been kayaking and fishing for over thirty-five years in south Texas and have won many tournaments over the years. In 2005 I was on the Extreme Edge Shimano Pro fishing tour it runs from Texas to Florida. I'm the Texas Kayak Angler of the Year and the National Kayak Angler of the Year for 2005. Our team also finished Kayak Team of the year and the National Kayak Team of the year for 2005. 

Home waters:         Corpus Christi Bay, Laguna Madre, Baffin Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

Kayaks :                I have an original 20+ year old Scrambler, 3 Prowler 13 one with a rudder, Big Game, Caper, Drifter, Malibu 2
                              and Scrambler angler.

Question: What do you like best about the sport of kayak fishing?

Well, kayaking for over 25+ years I have enjoyed catching many species of fish and getting close to nature while getting a great workout. Also, I like traveling around and introducing people to the great sport of kayak fishing.
