Vincent was born on the Texas Gulf coast, his family has owned bay front property on Galveston island’s West Bay since the early 1940s.  His in depth knowledge of marine angling techniques is the result of an insatiable passion for fishing that developed at an early age.  His father and grandfather both accomplished coastal fishermen, instilled a love for the outdoors and saltwater fishing that remains with him today.  Summers and weekends as a child were filled fishing the Texas coastal waters from dawn to dusk.  Vincent spent his college years in the Texas hill country in San Marcos.  While living in San Marcos, he pursued his passion for the water, paddling kayaks and canoes on the Guadalupe, Blanco, and San Marcos rivers fly fishing for rainbow trout and Guadalupe bass.  Upon his return, Vincent applied his new found kayaking skills to the saltwater marsh of the Texas Gulf Coast.  His love of fly tying and fly fishing is now focused on saltwater prey, and currently holds four Texas Parks and Wildlife fly fishing records.  Vincent is one of only six anglers to achieve the Elite Angler Recognition status from Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.  An established kayak tournament angler, Vincent is a member of the 2005 National Kayak Angling Team of the Year and 2005 Texas Kayak Angling Team of the Year and has won and placed in many tournaments..
